Our other big project at our placement this week was to attach tags to a shipment of cell phone bags going to the US. Each tag explained that the bags were handmade in India by survivors of exploitation and slavery. It was a tedious process, considering we were shipping 1,000 bags, but I was excited to do it because hopefully it will make more people aware of the situation around the world. So these are pictures of the girls helping us put tags on every bag, raising awareness of the problems facing Indian girls today.
